Make note of the project name and location, as you will need this later.
Uncheck “Connect to Unity Cloud”.
Uncheck “Use Unity Version Control”.
In your newly opened Unity project, install the editor pack.
Click on the menu item Window->Package Manager.
Select “My Assets” in the Packages drop down menu.
Search for “Sinespace”
Select the “Sinespace Virtual World” asset in the list, then click the Download button.
After the asset is downloaded, click the Import button.
If it pops up a window warning about Package Manager dependencies, click the Skip button.
An Import Unity Package window will pop up. Make sure all is checked and click Import.
A window should then pop up asking “Do you wish to unpack the Sinespace editor pack?”. Click Install Editor Pack. It will do some processing and take a while.
Eventually it will warn you about importing a complete project. Click the Import button.
Another Import Unity Package window will pop up. Make sure all is checked and click Import.
You will likely get a popup about an API update being required. Click “I Made a Backup. Go Ahead!”.
Once that all completes, you may close the Package Manager window.
You should now have “Sinespace” in your menu bar up top.
Click the menu item Sinespace->Install Editor Pack Settings…
You will get a pop up saying it is complete.
You will now want to restart Unity and reload your project. Do this by closing the main Unity window. Once it is closed out, go to Unity Hub, and click on the project you just created to load it back up. It might take a while to reload as it will reprocess some things with the new settings.
Once it is open again, click the menu item Sinespace->Sign in…
In the Inspector panel, fill out your login information and click login.
You may now optionally fill out your branding defaults.
